PicMonkey Collage - Lot mow

In order to minimize the potential for vacant lots to become a menace to public health, safety and welfare. or otherwise become a public nuisance, the City of Punta Gorda established a mandatory lot mowing program. The program provides for mowing, trimming and sidewalk edging for eligible undeveloped properties a set number of times per year. Property owners are charged an annual user fee for participation in the program which is collected as part of the property tax bill.
