Veterans in Punta Gorda and Charlotte County have access to a variety of services and organizations that provide assistance, fellowship, and recognition:

• Charlotte County Veterans Services Office – Guidance on benefits, claims, and resources available to veterans and their families.

• Military Heritage Museum - Award winning museum aimed at educating visitors of all ages through captivating exhibits which bring military history to life. Military Heritage Museum website

• Veterans Park & Memorials – Local landmarks dedicated to remembering and honoring those who served. Vietnam Wall of Southwest Florida

• Community Partners – Collaboration with organizations such as the American Legion Post 103, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), and Southwest Florida Honor Flight, which helps veterans visit their memorials in Washington, D.C.

Throughout the year, Punta Gorda hosts and supports events to recognize veterans, including:
