Dr. Melissa Reichert serves as the interim city manager for the City of Punta Gorda, Florida. Melissa supports the administrative and operational affairs of the City of Punta Gorda. Melissa had spent the last 22 years working in community development in a leadership capacity.
Melissa has served as a member of the board of directors of the Wisconsin State Chamber of Commerce Executives, served as Vice-President of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Centergy, and provided leadership for the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point as a member of the Chancellor’s Advisory Council.
Current board positions include Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Charlotte County.
Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a master’s degree in business administration, a master’s degree in public health, and a DrPH degree.
